Red Hot
Over in the red section things are moving along pretty normally. Gavin Smith, Eric Froehlich, Victoria Coren, and Isaac Haxton all have dipped a little below starting stack, but with the blinds still so low there is plenty of time to kick things in to high gear and start collecting chips.
Eric Baldwin is also mixing it up over in red, we recently caught up to him with a board exposed. Baldwin faced a bet from a player in middle position for 1,275. Baldwin in late position made the call and the dealer exposed the for the river. Both players took their time letting seconds drip off the clock before each on knuckled the felt for a check.
Baldwin flipped over for top two pair and his opponent reacted by mucking his hole cards. Baldwin now sits around 9,000.
A couple of tables over we saw Nick Binger call a 250 raise from the button preflop. The flop came and Binger's opponent in the under the gun position bet out 275. Binger's response was to raise it to 725.
The on the turn slowed the under the gun player down and saw a check. Binger bet out 1,025 and a call was made.
The on the river brought with it an all in bet from Binger's opponent, a bet that would put the shorter stacked Binger all in. Binger was visible confused by the bet and took his time deciding his best option. In the end Binger made the call and was saddened to see his opponent flip over , a hand Binger couldn't beat. Binger mucked his cards, wished everyone good luck and made his exit.
