Basebaldy Almost Has to Use a Rebuy Chip

Six players saw a flop of {7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and Eric "basebaldy" Baldwin led out from the small blind for 300. Two players folded, Seat 4 made the call, and the two other players got out of the way.

When the {9-Hearts} turned, Baldwin moved all in for 500, though he had two rebuy chips behind. For those who don't know, players start this tournament with 1,500 and two rebuy chips that can be used at any time. They're worth 1,500 apiece, which means each player has 4,500 at his or her disposal.

Anyway, in the hand, Seat 4 called and tabled {2-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{5-Spades}{5-Clubs}, while Baldwin held {3-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{6-Spades}{K-Clubs}. "I guess I need a six," Seat 4 said of his chances to scoop. The {8-Diamonds} river was not what he was looking for and it ended up being a chopped pot.
