. Brendon Rubie, who finished runner-up in Event 28: $2,500 No-Limit Hold'em - Four-Handed, had just bet 17,000 only to have Fabrizio Gonzalez raise to 34,000.
Rubie thought for a long time before putting in the call, and then turned right around and bet out 80,000 on the 
river. The bet had Gonzalez covered, meaning he'd have to call off his last 77,000 if he wanted to have a showdown. Gonzalez gave it even more thought than Rubie had on the turn, but ultimately decided to preserve his stack and wait for a different spot.
