Bui Doubles Early

Pot-Limit Omaha

When the action folded to Lee Goldman in the small blind, the short stacked Todd Bui would say, "Go on, do it," out of the big blind. He was referring to Goldman raising the pot, which would put Bui all in. Goldman did exactly that saying "pot," and with a call from Bui, the two players would turn their hands over.

Bui: {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}
Goldman: {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}

Bui wasn't in bad shape by any means, but the {5-Clubs}{8-Spades}{q-Diamonds} flop wasn't great for him. However the {10-Hearts} turn gave him some more outs and the {j-Clubs} river would give him the straight to double up.

Time for the Final Day of 10-Game Action

It's taken two long and action-filled days of mixed-game poker to get where we are today, and now it is finally time to play down to a winner in Event 52: $2,500 10-Game Mix - Six Handed. The player best pressed to make a run at the title is arguably Vanessa Selbst, as she is the chip leader of the 19 players who return to the felt.

Known as one of the best players in the world, Selbst will be the one to watch today as she is looking to capture her second World Series of Poker gold bracelet. It was back in 2008 in the $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha event that Selbst took down her first bracelet and we are sure she is hungry for more.

Also returning with the hopes of winning their second bracelet is Vincent van der Fluit. Like Selbst, Van der Fluit won his bracelet in a pot-limit omaha event, which happens to be one of the 10 games that are played in today's exciting mixed-game event.

The rest of the Day 3 field isn't to be sneezed at, with some of the best players around also still in the mix. These include Chris Bjorin, Bryn Kenney, Lee Goldman, Can Kim Hua, James Mackey, and Thomas Chambers. All of these names may sound familiar, as each and every one of them has made a final table during this year's WSOP. Of these player it was Chris Bjorin who got the closest to tasting gold, finishing as the runner-up in Event 4: $1,500 Seven Card Stud Hi-Low 8-or-Better.

Another player to watch will be Scott Clements as he will be looking to better the many deep runs he has had this summer. Just ten days ago Clements bubbled the final table of Event 38: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em and as such is surely ready to fire up today.

It is all set to begin at 3:00 PM and PokerNews will be here every step of the way to crowning a 10-game champion. Don't forget that today will also see the historic $1,000,000 Big One for One Drop begin and that really is not to be missed, so make sure to check out all the action
