Van der Fluit Break the Six-Figure Mark

Vincent van der Fluit
Vincent van der Fluit

No-Limit Hold'em

Ari Engel was in the cutoff and he raised it up to 1,350. Vincent van der Fluit made the call from the button and both blinds folded.

The flop came down {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and Engel checked to Van der Fluit who bet 2,600. Engel tanked for a bit and called.

The turn was the {5-Clubs} and Engel checked again. Van der Fluit paused, and eventually put out a 6,250 chip bet. Engel took his time again, but he wasn't folding.

On the river the {A-Diamonds} hit, and Engel checked once more. Van der Fluit took about 30 seconds to make up his mind, before betting 13,725. Engel would be left with 20,000 chips in case he was wrong, and minutes went by before me made up his mind.

Multiple times Engel had the dealer confirm the size of the bet, and he smiled as he clearly wasn't sure what to do with his hand. Eventually he made the call and Van der Fluit turned over {A-Hearts}{5-Hearts}. Engel mucked immediately and Van der Fluit is now up to around 120,000 chips.
