Phil Ivey is no longer involved in this tournament and we were there to catch the last moments of his night. When we arrived at the table there was already a flop out on the felt and Ivey was involved in the hand against D.J. Meisinger.

Ivey led for 700 on the flop and Meisinger raised the pot. Ivey then called all in for 3,300 and the two players turned their hands over.

The turn and the river were of no help to Ivey and he was sent packing. Meisinger, meanwhile, gave himself a story to tell for as long as he plays the game, after toppling one of the best players on the planet, and proving that poker is the greatest of equalizers.
