Musumeci wasted little time in leading out for 33,000, Nguyen called, and the appeared on the turn. This time Musumeci opted to check, opening the door for Nguyen to bet 56,000. Musumeci made the call and then turned right around and led out for 87,000 on the river. Nguyen made the call and tabled for two pair, which bested Musumeci's two pair and missed flush draw.
The hand started with Huy Nguyen on the button and Matt Keikoan opened for 27,00. Ryan Eriquezzo raised to 66,00 right behind him, the blinds released and Keikoan tossed his cards away without much thought.

In the first hand of the 2012 World Series of Poker National Championship, action folded around to short-stacked David "ODB" Baker in the cutoff and he opened for 25,000. The raise proved to be enough as the button and both blinds folded.
Last Saturday, Day 2 of the 2012 World Series of Poker National Championship saw the remaining 39 players of a 157-entrant field return to battle down to a final table. It was a relatively quick day as 21 players hit the rail empty handed while ten more followed with respectable paydays. With that said, only eight were fortunate to make the final table and will return today to play down to a winner.
