Bolden Doubles Through Matros
We mentioned in the Orbit with Brian Rast post that Matt Matros and Gary Bolden played out a big pot, so here are the details of that hand.
Michael Rosenbach raised to 700 from under the gun, and Matros made the call in the cutoff. Bolden also called on the button, as did Brian Rast in the big blind, and the flop came down . Rast and Rosenbach checked to Matros, who fired out 1,600. Bolden was the only caller, and the turn came the . Matros bet out again, this time for 2,700, and again, Bolden came along.
The hit the river, and Matros took a peak at Bolden's stack, then threw out a bet big enough to set Bolden all in. Bolden thought for about 30 seconds, then let out a big sign and leaned back in his chair. He thought for about 90 seconds total before committing the chips, and Matros flipped up for ace high with busted draws. Bolden showed for second pair, which was good enough to secure the double up.
