Kwong Doubles Through Holloway

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Chad Holloway raised from the button to 65,000 and Allan Kwong called.

The flop came {4-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}. Kwong checked which was followed by a 75,000 bet from Holloway. Kwong raised to 210,000 and Holloway reraised all in. Kwong called and showed {k-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for top pair. Holloway had {6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} for middle pair and a straight draw.

The {6-Spades} turn gave Holloway two pair, while the river {4-Clubs} gave Kwong a higher two pair.

Bobby Rooney Eliminated in 3rd Place ($33,903)

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Bobby Rooney, down to his last 100,000 or so, shipped all in from the button. Chad Holloway reraised all in, forcing a fold from Allan Kwong.

Rooney: {q-Hearts}{3-Hearts}
Holloway: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

The flop brought little help for Rooney: {5-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}. An {a-Hearts} turn meant he had picked up a backdoor flush draw, and Holloway remarked that it's "never easy." Sure enough, the {4-Hearts} fell on the river and Rooney doubled up.

Shortly thereafter, Kwong raised all in from the small blind and Rooney instantly called off from the big blind. This time, Rooney was ahead.

Rooney: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Kwong: {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

A {9-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop helped nobody, as did an {8-Diamonds} turn. On the river, heartbreak arrived for Rooney in the form of the {a-Clubs}, and he finished third for $33,903.

Holloway and Kwong are now heads up, with Holloway holding a sizable lead.

Holloway Doubles Through Rooney

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Chad Holloway raised to 50,000 on the button and Bobby Rooney reraised from the big blind to 150,000. Holloway called.

The flop came {5-Hearts}{a-Spades}{3-Diamonds}. Rooney bet 175,000 and Holloway called.

The {9-Spades} turn prompted Rooney to go all in. After thinking, Holloway called.

Rooney showed {q-Spades}{2-Spades} for a flush draw and Holloway tabled {a-Hearts}{j-Spades} for top pair.

The {k-Hearts} river did not improve Rooney's hand and Holloway doubles up leaving Rooney very short.

Rooney Forces a Fold

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Allan Kwong opened to 57,000 in the small blind, and Bobby Rooney called in the big blind. The flop came {10-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}, and Rooney called Kwong's 80,000 bet. Both players checked the {3-Hearts} turn and saw another brick, this time the {2-Spades}, hit the river. Kwong checked, and Rooney tossed four red chips in the middle, a 100,000 bet. Kwong folded.
