Hand #18- Ben Palmer raised to 48,000 from under the gun, and Scott Clements called from the button. Levi Berger also called in the small blind, and the three saw the dealer put out a flop. Berger checked to Palmer, who made it 77,000 to go. Clements quickly folded, and Berger went into the tank. He eventually cut out raising chips, and put in a bet of 235,000. Palmer tanked for about 30 seconds before announcing all in for his last 989,000. Once Berger got the count, he made the call, making it the biggest pot of the tournament.

Berger's top pair top kicker was good, but he would need to fade a club or a king to win. The turn didn't bring either, but the did give Palmer more outs, as a ten would now do it. The river brought the , and Palmer hit his flush to double up, leaving Berger with 560,000.
