Kubat Doubles Through Pergola

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Hand #19: Jed Hoffman raised to 52,000 from middle position, and everyone folded.

Hand #20: Dan Gannon opened from early position to 52,000, and Patrick Kubat reraised to 125,000 from the hijack seat. Gannon called, and the dealer ran out the {J-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop. Gannon and Kubat both checked.

On the turn, the {J-Hearts} paired the board. Gannon checked, and Kubat checked behind. Then, the river was the {2-Clubs}. Gannon bet 150,000, and Kubat tank-folded.

Hand #21: On the button, Hunter Frey moved all in and won the pot.

Hand #22: Patrick Kubat opened with a raise to 52,000, and action folded to Joseph Pergola on the button. He called, and the flop came down {Q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{2-Hearts}. Kubat checked, and Pergola fired a bet of an 50,000. Kubat check-raised to 175,000, and Pergola called.

The turn was the {Q-Spades}, and Kubat checked. Pergola bet 90,000, and Kubat called.

The river was the {8-Clubs}, and Kubat checked. Pergola moved all in for about 290,000, according to the tournament announcer, and Kubat went into the tank. He eventually called, putting himself at risk as he had slightly less chips than Pergola.

Pergola showed {K-}{J-} for a busted straight draw, and Kubat's {K-}{K-} was good to double him up.
