Vandersmissen Doubles Through Hennigan

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

We arrived at the table to find Kevin Vandersmissen, John Hennigan, and Amit Makhija looking down at {4-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} on the felt. Vandersmissen checked over to Hennigan who also knocked the table. Makhija fired out 5,300 and Vandersmissen made it 11,400 to go.

Hennigan thought for quite some time before making a three-bet to 25,000. Makhija folded and Vandersmissen replied by moving all in. Hennigan announced a call and the hands were rolled over:

Vandersmissen: {4-Spades}{4-Clubs}
Hennigan: {A-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

The {K-Hearts} peeled off on the turn and several small gasps were heard at the table as Hennigan now picked up outs to make a higher full house. It was not meant to be, however, as the {9-Diamonds} hit the river and Hennigan was forced to ship 43,100 across the table for Vandersmissen's double up.
