Katchalov Doubles; Herm Still Has "Todd"
Eugene Katchalov raised to 12,000 in early position, Mark Herm three-bet to 28,000 out of the small blind, and Katchalov re-raised the pot, making it 90,000. Herm asked to see the rest of Katchalov's stack - it was 32,000 more - and Herm moved all in. Katchalov quickly called.
Katchalov:
Herm:
The dealer fanned , giving Katchalov a set, and Herm needed a king or running diamonds to score the knockout. The bricked on the turn, and so too did the on the river, and Katchalov doubled to 246,000 chips.
"Comfort zone," someone on the rail said to Herm, referring to his 20-big blind stack. "Comfort zone."
"Comfort zone?" Herm responded. "I still have Todd."
For some reason, Herm and some of his good friends took Todd Heap, the former tight end of the Baltimore Ravens, and use his first name to refer to their stack when they have "heaps." We'll update you on any more lingo information comes along.
