Valouev & "Detroit" Al Quartered

Level 13 : 800/1,500, 0 ante

Dmitrii Valouev raised to 3,000 from middle position and received a call from "Detroit" Al Green in the hijack. Matthew Kursar then three-bet to 4,500 from the cutoff, both Valouev and Green called, and the flop came down {7-Hearts}{9-Spades}{5-Diamonds}.

Valouev and Green checked, and both called when Kursar bet. The action repeated itself on both the {6-Hearts} turn and {K-Hearts} river and Kursar tabled the {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for the nut flush and a low. Valouev and Green had the {a-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{q-Spades} and {a-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs} respectively, which means they chopped the low and got quartered.

Despite losing on that pot, both Valouev and Green are both up on the day.
