Duval Bests Bartlett

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #24: Majid Yahyaei opened to 70,000 from his button which caused the blinds to fold their cards.

Hand #25: Yahyaei raised once again, this time from the cutoff. It was once again enough to take down the blinds and antes.

Hand #26: Action folded to Jason Duval who made it 85,000 from the small blind. The big blind folded and he took it down preflop.

Hand #27: Duval made it 60,000 from his button and was called by Stephen Bartlett from the small blind and Dan Martin from the big blind. The flop came {J-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and there were two checks back to Duval who continued for 90,000. Bartlett called and Martin folded.

Both remaining players checked the {q-Clubs} turn and the {8-Diamonds} finished off the board. Bartlett fired 120,000 and Duval took a moment before calling. Bartlett showed {A-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for a pair of fours but was bested by Duval's {K-Clubs}{7-Spades} for a pair of sevens. Duval dragged in the pot.

Joseph Cappuccio Eliminated in 9th Place ($38,360)

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante
Joe Cappuccio - 9th Place
Joe Cappuccio - 9th Place

Hand #6: James Lee opened with a raise to 70,000 from early position and Joseph Cappuccio three-bet all in from the next seat over for about 355,000. Tommy Townsend was next to act from the hijack and he announced an all in over the top for about 1.16 million. It folded back to Lee who looked distraught and finally folded his hand.

Cappuccio: {K-Spades}{Q-Spades}
Townsend: {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}

The flop brought {J-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Townsend stayed in the lead.

"Put a ten out there!" shouted Matt Stout from Cappuccio's rail.

The dealer obliged, as the {10-Spades} hit the turn. It wasn't enough, however, as the {3-Spades} finished the board and Cappuccio was eliminated in 9th place.
