We're down to the final 38 players in Event #3: $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em after yesterday began with 543. Last night, Seth Berger went on a massive heater and picked up pot after pot to gain the chip lead, but just behind him is Ryan Olisar who made the final table of this same event last year. Berger will start the day with 994,000 and Olisar is not far behind him on 815,000 chips.
The field still has some big names in it as well, such as Scott Seiver, who bagged up 163,000, Nam Le, who finished day 2 with 361,000, and Jonathan Tamayo, who comes into day three with 109,000. Of course all the players will be looking to over take Olisar and Berger to take home the cash and the bracelet. Speaking of cash, first place for this event is a massive $491,360.
Ten more levels will be played today, or until we reach a winner. Cards will be in the air at 1 P.M. local time. PokerNews.com will be here all day for all your updates, chips, and important hands so be sure to stick around. We'll see you in less than an hour.
