"Dream Scenario" Gone Bad

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Brent Keller and Bryan Campanello played a raised pot in which Keller showed a {7-} and Campanello a {4-}. Campenello grabbed the betting lead when he caught a queen against Keller's king, and he continued firing through sixth.

Keller: {7-}{k-}{5-}{a-}
Campanello: {4-}{q-}{3-}{10-}

Keller raised on sixth, and Campanello called. Both players checked the end.

"Eight-seven," Campanello said, tabling {8-}{7-}{2-}. Keller got out of his seat in seeming disbelief, flashing a {6-Clubs}.

"Just a dream scenario," he said to his rail section. "I've got him betting into me when I've got the best of it."

Campanello took the pot with the eight-seven.

Bach Takes A Big One to Nearly Double

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante
David Bach
David Bach

Bach: {2-}{3-}{a-}/{4-}{5-}{5-}{10-}
Pauli: {X-}{X-}{X-}/{6-}{9-}{8-}{10-}

With a {4-} up David Bach completed, resulting in a call from Sebastian Pauli. Bach bet again on fourth, and Pauli called.

On fifth street Pauli picked up the lead when Bach paired and he bet it out. Bach called. The action repeated in self on sixth street.

When Seventh street was dealt face down, Pauli checked to Bach. Bach bet and Pauli called. Bach showed his {2-}{3-}{a-} under for the wheel and the nuts was good enough to scoop him the decent sized pot.

Bach Fights for Survival

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante

Brent Keller and David Bach were the only players to fourth street, and Keller bet with a {10-}{6-} against Bach's {8-}{q-}. Keller bet again on fifth when they both caught good, but slowed down with a check-call on sixth.

Bach: {8-}{q-}{6-}{4-}
Keller: {10-}{6-}{a-}{4-}

Both players checked seventh. "Nine," Keller said. It was no good, however, as Bach turned over {5-}{3-}{9-} for an eight-low.

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante
Ismael Bojang eliminated by Brent Keller
Ismael Bojang eliminated by Brent Keller

Fuller: {X-}{X-}/{5-} - Fold
Pauli: {X-}{X-}/{A-}{K-}{K-} - Fold
Bojang: {7-}{3-}/{5-}{q-}{j-}{9-} - Muck
Keller: {3-}{8-}/{2-}{3-}{4-}{j-}/{6-}

Action began after the bring in on Rick Fuller who completed with a {5-}. Brent Keller called with a {2-}, as did Ismael Bojang with a {5-}. Pauli raised with an {A-}. Fuller folded, while both Bojang and Keller called.

On fourth street Keller bet. Bojang moved all in for 16,000 and Pauli called. Keller then made a raise and Pauli called again.

On fifth street Keller bet and Pauli folded leaving the two men heads up. Bojang was still drawing live as Keller had paired on fifth. He completed a jack low on sixth, as did Bojang.

Bojang asked Keller to turn his card up first which he did, revealing a {6-} that left Bojang drawing dead as Keller had made an eight-six low and he was eliminated from the tournament.

Fuller Doubles

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante

Bryan Campanello and Rick Fuller got it all in on fifth street.

Campanello: {k-}{6-}/{4-}{2-}{a-}
Fuller: {9-}{2-}/{a-}{3-}{10-}

Campanello was drawing to a six, while Fuller was looking for lower than his nine to make a hand. Things looked good for him when he got a {7-} and Campanello paired his four. A {k-} for Campanello on seventh meant he was drawing dead, and Fuller doubled up.

Keller Takes Down First Pot at Final Table

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante

When we reached the table two players were on seventh street with a monster pot sitting in the middle of the table.

Brent Keller was first to act and he checked. Behind him was Sebastian Pauli who also checked.

"Ten-Seven" Pauli said, not showing his cards, only his {5-}{6-}{A-}{10-} that were up.

Keller turned up his {5-}{6-}{7-}{4-}{3-}{q-}{10-} for a seven-six low and it was good enough to take down the first pot here at the final table.

Randy Ohel Eliminated in 10th Place ($13,469); Frankie O'Dell Eliminated in 9th Place ($13,469)

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante
Frankie O'Dell - 9th Place.
Frankie O'Dell - 9th Place.

Frankie O'Dell completed with an {8-}, and Randy Ohel went into the tank with a {j-} behind him. Sebastian Pauli was lurking behind him with a six up, but Ohel finally decided to raise for most of his chips. Pauli reraised, and O'Dell got it all in along with Ohel. Pauli called.

Pauli: {6-}{2-}{4-}
Ohel: {j-}{2-}{3-}
O'Dell: {6-}{7-}{8-}

Pauli was ahead early with three to a six-low, and dealer shipped him a seven right off the bat, while Ohel and O'Dell got tens, leaving them in bad shape. By sixth street, Pauli had completed his seven-low, and Ohel was the only one with an out, as he had {4-} and {5-} on his board. Only a six or an ace would save him, but he had been dealt a nine, and Pauli notched two knockouts in one hand.
