Marc MacDonnel Eliminated in 11th Place ($15,525)

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Marc MacDonnell
Marc MacDonnell

Marc MacDonnel opened to 25,000 from the button, before Michael Gathy moved all in for 254,000 from the small blind. The big blind got out of the way, as MacDonnel made the call.

MacDonnel: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Gathy: {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}

The board ran out {6-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{7-Spades}, to see Gathys ace-high hold, as MacDonnel dropped down to just 56,000 in chips.

In the very next hand, MacDonnel committed his remaining stack into the middle, and was called by Victor Figueroa.

MacDonnel: {A-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
Figueroa: {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}

MacDonnell was already heading out of the tournament floor when the flop fell {10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. He was drawing dead, as the meaningless {5-Clubs} and {K-Spades} completed the board.

Vaillancourt Doubles Through Crane

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Action folded to Noah Vaillancourt in the small blind who had just 154,000 left. He shoved all in and received a quick call by Russell Crane in the big blind. Vaillancourt showed his {8-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and was in good shape against Crane's {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}. No funny stuff this time as the board stayed free of sixes: {9-Clubs}{A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} | {4-Hearts} | {2-Clubs}.

Zhu Loses Another

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

The action started with Victor Figueroa opening to 24,000 from the button, before Ben Reason moved all in for 143,000 in chips. Yueqi Zhu was on the big blind, and made the call, as Figueroa thought for a moment, before releasing his hand.

Zhu: {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Reason: {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}

Zhu lost another hand in the matter of minutes, as the board ran out {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{K-Clubs} to see Reasons queen-kicker play.

Vaillancourt Doubles Through Rybachenko

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Noah Vaillancourt opened to 24,000 and action quickly folded to Sergey Rybachenko in the blinds. He announced all in and even before he got his chips in, Vaillancourt had already called. Vaillancourt showed his {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} first, Rybachenko tabled {10-Clubs}{4-Spades}.

The flop was a disaster for Vaillancourt who needed to play catch up from there on out: {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades}. With the {6-Diamonds} on the turn his chances had been reduced to zero and he never saw the {8-Hearts} on the river. Vaillancourt walked away from the table looking pretty tilted. He came back later, counted out the 214,000 he owed Rybachenko and continued with about 355,000 in chips.

Duval on the River

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Yueqi Zhu opened to 24,000 from the cut-off, before being met with an all in for 203,000 from Jason Duval on the big blind. Zhu quickly made the call, putting Duvals tournament at risk.

Zhu: {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
Duval: {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs}

It was all looking good for Zhu, as the dealer spread out {Q-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} on the flop and turn, but the {J-Hearts} on the river, saw Duval snatch the victory from Zhus grasp, as eleven still remain in the field.

Gathy Hits the Flop

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

The hand started with Michael Gathy opening to 25,000 from under the gun, before Ben Reason raised it up to 65,000 from the button. The blinds folded, before Gathy decided to move all in for 224,000 in chips. Reason made the quick call, as the cards were turned over.

Gathy: {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}
Reason: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

Unfortunately for Reason, the flop would come {Q-Spades}{5-Spades}{5-Diamonds} to give Gathy the lead with a bigger pair, and he would find no tens, when the board ran out the {7-Hearts} and {3-Diamonds}.

Tom Alner Eliminated in 12th Place ($15,525)

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Tom Alner
Tom Alner

Russell Crane opened the button to 20,000 and he received one caller; Tom Alner in the big blind. The flop came {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and Alner checked his cards before checking. Crane gently slid 24,000 out and the decision was on Alner. He contemplated his options but didn't need to much time before announcing all in. Before we could count how much it was Crane had already snap called and the cards were face up on the table.

Russell Crane{K-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Tom Alner{K-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

Alner needed help but wouldn't get it. The dealer brought out the {5-Spades} on the turn and paired Crane up again with the {10-Spades} on the river.
