David Pham raised Jared Jaffee's led out bet of 15,000, making it 44,000 to play on the {6-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{8-Clubs} flop.

When the {10-Diamonds} hit the board on the turn, both players opted to tap the table, and the {10-Hearts} completed the board on the river.

Two more checks brought the players to the showdown, and Jaffee rolled over the {J-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for two pair.

Pham winced when he saw the cards, and took one last look at his {6-Clubs}{9-Clubs} before tossing them into the muck. Pham had flopped two pair, but his hand was counterfeited on the river.

"I wanted to get it in on the turn," said Jaffee with a laugh. "That was a monster turn card for me."

"We get it in on flop," retorted Pham, his cryptic words having no impact on Jaffee as he stacked his newly acquired chips.
