Hands #93-96 Allan Vrooman Eliminated in 3rd Place ($230,178)

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Allan Vrooman
Allan Vrooman

Hand #93- Peter Hengsakul made it 100,000 from the button, and Allan Vrooman, who was the lone blind, reraised to 350,000. Hengsakul folded, and Vrooman collected the pot.

Hand #94- Hengsakul had the button again, and he made it 100,000 to go. Jared Hamby defended his big blind, and the flop came down {8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{7-Diamonds}. Hamby check called a bet of 100,000, and the turn was the {3-Hearts}. Hamby checked again, and this time around, Hengsakul fired out 425,000. Hamby tanked for about a minute before calling, and the river was the {a-Clubs}. Hamby checked a third time, and Hengsakul moved all in. Hamby sat back in his chair, shuffling his chips as he contemplated the decision. He ended up folding his hand, and Hengsakul took down another pot.

Hand #95- Vrooman made it 125,000 on the button, and Hengsakul reraised to 375,000. Vrooman quickly moved all in for about 1.7 million total, and Hengsakul tanked for a minute before calling.

Hengsakul: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Vrooman: {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}

It was another classic coin flip to decide a huge all in confrontation at this final table, and Vrooman's eight's survived the {9-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{10-Spades} flop. Hengsakul was looking for any paint card to win the hand, and while the {9-Spades} on the turn wasn't that, it did bring the {9-Spades}, giving counterfeit outs to Hengsakul. Half the deck would work for him, and the {j-Hearts} on the river gave Hengsakul broadway, knocking out Vrooman in 3rd.
