Monnette Takes Down a 5 Way Pot with a Jack-Nine
Dee Tiller made it 400 under-the-gun, and we're pretty sure he hadn't looked at his cards yet at that time. It's a fun loving table and this hand was another example of that. Max Pescatori joined the fun and called the 400, and so did Michael Watson on the button, John Monnette in the small blind and David Williams in the big blind.
Dealer Andy would need a lot of cards for this one as Monnette requested one, Williams asked for three, Tiller needed two and so did Pescatori and Watson. Everybody checked and Tiller announced a jack-ten with a hopeful voice. Monette showed though and that granted him the pot. Williams was still messing around with the dealer, accusing him with a big laugh that he had given him back exactly the same cards he drew.
