Hellmuth Gone
After his last encounter with Paul Volpe, it seems that Phil Hellmuth entered a downward spiral. We arrived at the table to find him open to 1,300 before the draw. Tobias Wenker raised to 3,200 from the next seat over and it folded back to Hellmuth who shot the rest of his stack in the middle for less.
Hellmuth announced that he was drawing one and Wenker stood pat, rolling over his hand.

Hellmuth was drawing live with his final card in front of him.
"I have a feeling it's going to be paint. It feels like paint. I've had a wheel draw four times today," said Hellmuth very quickly. It was indeed paint as he picked up the , giving him the second best hand. Hellmuth stormed out of the tournament area and disappeared quickly from sight. Wenker dragged in the pot, satisfied with having slain a world champion.
