Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Stud-8

Ashton: {x-}{x-} / {2-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{k-Clubs} / {x-}
Gorodinsky: {x-}{x-} / {3-Spades}{2-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{3-Hearts} / {x-}
Tong: {x-}{x-} / {6-Spades}{q-Clubs} FOLD
Fotiadis: {x-}{x-} / {a-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{9-Diamonds} FOLD

Matthew Ashton brought in with the deuce, and Mike Gorodinsky called. Kristopher Tong completed, and George Fotiadis made the call, as did Ashton and Gorodinsky. Fotiadis led out on fourth street, and Ashton and Gorodinsky called. Tong got out of the way, and everyone checked through on fifth street. Gorodinsky fired out on sixth street, and Ashton was the only caller that time, as Fotiadis folded. Gorodinsky fired on seventh, Ashton called, and Gorodinsky showed {6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{4-Spades} for two pair and a low. Ashton showed {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{5-Hearts} for a better two pair, and the two of them chopped it up.

The big thing from this hand is that Tong is now down to less then nine big bets, sitting on 180,000.

Gorodinsky Scoops Tong

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Omaha-8

Mike Gorodinsky came in for a raise, and Kristopher Tong came along from the small blind. The flop came down {2-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}, and Tong check called a bet from Gorodinsky. Both players checked when the {q-Spades} hit the turn, and the river came the {6-Hearts}. Tong checked, and Gorodinsky fired out one more bet. Tong spent some time in the tank, and eventually, he found a call.

Gorodinsky tabled a monster hand: {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for the nut low and a six high straight. Tong released his hand, dropping him to 220,000, while Gorodinsky is creeping closer to chip leader Owais Ahmed with 720,000.

Mack Lee -- 7th Place
Mack Lee -- 7th Place

Stud-8

Kristopher Tong({A-Hearts}{6-Clubs}) / {4-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{K-Spades}{5-Clubs} / ({5-Hearts})
Mack Lee({7-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}) / {2-Spades}{10-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} / ({4-Hearts})

Picking up the action on fourth street, Kristopher Tong bet and Mack Lee raised. Tong reraised, and Lee made the call. On fifth street, Tong bet and Lee raised all in for a tiny bit more than the bet. Tong called.

When the hands were opened, Tong was ahead with a pair of kings to Lee's pair of twos. The dealer pitched each players the final cards for their hands, and Lee was left with just a pair of twos, which couldn't beat the two pair that Tong had made.

Lee was eliminated in seventh place and took home $25,993 for his finish.

Mike Gorodinsky brought in with the six, and Mack Lee raised it up. Gorodinsky called, and Lee fired out again on fourth. Gorodinsky called, and when Lee checked on fifth, Gorodinsky took control of the betting. He bet out once again on sixth, and both players checked their option on seventh.
