Hand #28: Stephen Chidwick was second to act, and raised to 70,000. Steve Sung three-bet to 225,000 on the button, and Chidwick called. The flop fell , Chidwick moved all in for 940,000, and Sung went deep into the tank.
After nearly two minutes, Sung folded, and Chidwick picked up the pot.
There were no flops in hands 21-26 of the unofficial final table, and chip leader Phil Galfond took down half of them. He also received the first walk of the unofficial final table.
Hand #20: Phil Galfond raised to 70,000 in the cutoff, Max Lehmanski defended his big blind, and the flop came down . Lehmanski check-called a bet of 80,000, then check-called another 160,000 from Galfond when the turned.
The completed the board, both players checked, and Lehmanski showed for a pair of sixes. Galfond had that beat with for a pair of tens, and is now close to three million chips.
Hand #17: Dani Stern raised to 66,000 in the cutoff, Phil Galfond defended his big blind, and the flop fell . Galfond checked, Stern fired out 92,000, and Galfond reached for chips, check-raising to 255,000.
Hand #14: Shannon Shorr raised to 54,000 in the cutoff, Steve Sung called on the button, and Dani Stern defended his big blind. Stern and Shorr both checked when the flop fell . Sung fired out 55,000, and only Stern called.
The turn was the , Stern check-called another 135,000, and the completed the board. Stern checked a third and final time, Sung fired out 375,000, and Stern called.
Sung showed for queens and jacks, but it was no good against Stern's for aces and jacks.
