Brubaker Doubles, Then Triples

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Brian Brubaker was down to just his last 7,000, but he quickly turned that into 45,000 in back-to-back hands. In the first hand, Brubaker was all in before the first draw, and Sebastian Sabic made the call. Both players drew two the first draw, one the second draw, and on the third draw, Sabic stood pat, while Brubaker drew one. Sabic showed {9-}{7-}{6-}{3-}{2-}, and Brubaker tabled {5-}{4-}{3-}{2-}. He flipped his last card up, a {7-} for the wheel, and he took down the pot to double up.

On the next hand, Brubaker raised it up from under the gun, and Sabic made it three bets. Mizrachi called, as did Brubaker, and everyone drew two cards. Mizrachi checked to Brubaker, who fired out. Sabic called, then Mizrachi raised, and both players called, with Brubaker calling all in. Brubaker drew two again, while Mizrachi and Sabic both drew one. They checked it through, and again they both drew one, while Brubaker patted. It was checked again, and the {7-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-} of Brubaker bested the {10-} low of Sabic and the {j-} low of Mizrachi.
