Hands 137-142: Chen Doubles Through Bennington

Level 34 : 120,000/240,000, 40,000 ante

Hand #137: Holding the button, Bennington upped the bet to 500,000, and Gray defended his big blind. On the flop of {8-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} Liberto checked, Bennington bet 500,000, and the pot was pushed his way.

Hand #138: Gray open-shoved from the small, risking his last 2.8 million, and the blinds and antes were his reward.

Hand #139: Liberto limped in from the small blind, Bennington checked his option, and a bet by Liberto on the {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} flop took it down.

Hand #140: Bennington's raise to 520,000 from the small blind was enough for the win.

Hand #141: With his stack under 7 big blinds, Chen open-shoved for 1.715 million from the small blind when the action folded around to him. Gray thought about things for a while, but ultimately decided to let this one go.

Hand #142: Bennington raised to 500,000 from under the gun, Chen moved all-in over the top for 2.075 million, and Bennington asked for a count. Eventually the doctor made the call with {Q-Hearts}{J-Spades}, getting tremendous pot odds on the chance to eliminate a dangerous player, but he was dominated by Chen's {A-Spades}{j-Hearts}. With his rail calling for an ace, the dealer delivered one on the {A-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{7-Spades} flop. While this flop looked good for Chen, Bennington actually picked up an additional out by exchanging queens for tens, and he was now looking to complete his gutshot Broadway draw to eliminate Chen. No such luck arrived on the turn of {6-Hearts} or river {A-Diamonds}, however, and Chen notched a desperately needed double.
