According to the announcer, Wiese showed "eight-nine" for a straight, winning the pot.

Hand #36: Daniel Alaei raised to 80,000 in middle position, Bleznick called on his direct left, Gjergj Sinishtaj called in the small blind, and Numit Agrawal defended his big blind. The flop came {4-Spades}{3-Clubs}{q-Hearts}, both blinds checked, Alaei bet 180,000, and all three players folded.

Alex Kravchenko - 9th Place
Alex Kravchenko - 9th Place

Hand #31: Rory Rees Brennan opened with a pot-sized raise to 140,000 from the hijack seat and won the blinds.

Hand #32: Brennan again raised to 140,000 and won the blinds.

Hand #33: Jared Bleznick raised to 95,000 from the cutoff seat and only Alex Kravchenko called from the big blind. Both checked the {9-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop. The {2-Diamonds} fell on the turn, and after Kravchenko checked, Bleznick bet 135,000 and Kravchenko got out.

Hand #34: James Wiese raised to 100,000 from the button, and Alex Kravchenko promptly reraised all in for about 300,000 from the small blind. Sean Dempsey then repotted from the big blind, forcing a fold from Weise.

Kravchenko: {A-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{3-Spades}
Dempsey: {A-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}

Both were double-suited with the same suits, then the {5-Spades}{4-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop connected best with Dempsey's hand, giving him an eight-high straight. Neither the {6-Diamonds} turn nor the {5-Diamonds} river helped Kravchenko, and he was eliminated in ninth.
