Kaplan Doubles Through Jarvis

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Matt Jarvis raised to 3,300, and Jay Kaplan then three-bet to 9,000. Jarvis called, and the flop came {5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades}. Jarvis checked, and Kaplan bet 8,700. Jarvis thought for a minute before calling, and the dealer turned the {3-Clubs}. Kaplan led out with an all-in shove, and Jarvis went into the tank. After about two minutes, Jarvis asked for an exact count, and the dealer told him the bet was 53,600. Jarvis thought another three minutes before calling and turning over {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}. Kaplan, however, revealed a better overpair, {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}. The river was the {5-Spades}, and Kaplan took the pot. He doubled up to 143,000 on the hand, while Jarvis dropped to 95000.
