Dunst is Having a Tough Time

Level 4 : 75/150, 0 ante

Tony Dunst started out the day rather good, but just lost a big pot to set him back to 5,700 in chips.

The player under-the-gun plus one opened to 325 and the player oin the cutoff made the call. From the button, Dunst three-bet to 875 and both opponents made the call. {K-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} on the flop and the early position opener checked. The player in the cutoff position shoved for 3,725 and Dunst made the call. The initial-raiser folded and we had a showdown.

The cutoff showed {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for an open-ended straight draw, while Dunst was in front with {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades} for top pair and top kicker. The {7-Clubs} on the turn left Dunst drawing-dead and the {Q-Spades} made the cutoff's straight just a little bit longer.
