Level 9 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante
Eric Wasserson
Eric Wasserson

Hand #232: Kory Kilpatrick raised to 60,000 on the button, Eric Wasserson defended, and the flop fell {10-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}. Wasserson checked, Kilpatrick tossed out another 60,000, and Wasserson called. The turn was a repeat eight - the {8-Clubs} - and both players rapped the felt. The {2-Clubs} completed the board, giving both players at least eights and deuces, and Wasserson led out for 160,000. Kilpatrick called, then mucked when Wasserson showed {j-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for a flush.

Kilpatrick led out for the first time, cutting put a bet of 375,000 and sliding it forward, and Wasserson reached into his stack. He cut out enough T25,000 chips to make the call and shot a look at the board, furrowing his brow. He cut the small stack down, stacked the chips back up, and riffled them with his right hand.

Confused, he jerked back for a moment, then finally committed them. Kilpatrick ripped over {6-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for a flush, and pulled in a massive pot.
