Eighty-Five for Wallace

Level 25

Razz

Ohel: {x-}{x-} / {9-}{4-}{8-}{9-} / {x-}
Wallace: {x-}{x-} / {4-}{10-}{5-}{3-} / {x-}

Bill Chen was the bring in with the {K-Diamonds}. Randy Ohel called from the next seat over and it folded around to Christopher Wallace, who completed. Chen folded and Ohel called.

Ohel check-called a bet on fourth street and did the same on fifth. Wallace was first to act on sixth when Ohel paired nines. He bet and Ohel called to see his final card. Wallace fired one more on seventh and Ohel thought for a moment before flinging out a call.

Wallace fanned {8-}{5-}{2-} for an eighty-five, prompting Ohel to muck his hand. Wallace picked up the pot and is now up around 685,000 in chips.

Sklar's On a Rampage

Level 25
Richard Sklar
Richard Sklar

Omaha 8

Richard Sklar has not slowed down one bit after getting ahold of some chips two levels ago. Calvin Anderson raised from the small blind and Sklar defended his big. The flop brought out {A-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and Sklar called a bet.

On the turn, the {9-Hearts} hit and Anderson bet again. Sklar called. The river brought the {6-Spades} and Anderson check-called. Sklar showed {A-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for a flush and a low - the same low that Anderson had - with {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{5-Hearts}. Sklar got three quarters and Anderson was knocked down to 213,000.

On the very next hand, it was Randy Ohel who raised and Sklar called from the small blind. The flop brought out {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and Anderson lead out; Ohel called. On the turn, the {10-Hearts} hit and Ohel called another bet. The river was the {5-Hearts} and Sklar lead once again; Ohel called.

"Gin rummy," Sklar yelled out as he threw {A-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{6-Hearts} onto the felt. Sklar had made the nut low and a full house, enough to scoop this pot.

"I don't care about the bracelet! Just give me the money," said Sklar with a wry smile.

The colorful gentleman who's been all smiles every day added, "I've been gambling every day for the last 45 years. All I care about are boats and houses and taking trips."

The players at the table laughed and offered to take the bracelet from Sklar, who's in control of this final table for now.

Ohel's Boat is Bigger

Level 25

Omaha 8

Randy Ohel raised from the button and Richard Ashby called from the big blind. The flop came down {K-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{4-Spades} and Ashby checked to the raiser. Ohel continued out and Ashby called to see a turn.

The dealer put out the {10-Hearts} on the turn and Ashby once again check-called a bet from Ohel. The board paired on the river with the {10-Diamonds} and Ashby checked for a third time. Ohel fired one final bet and Ashby shook his head as he called. Ohel fanned {K-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{J-Hearts}{j-Clubs} for tens full of kings. Ashby's head continued to shake as he flashed {10-Clubs}{4-Hearts} before his hand was pulled into the muck.

Ohel dragged in the pot and has now crossed the million-chip mark with 1.05 million.

Bruno Fitoussi
Bruno Fitoussi

Omaha 8

On the very first hand at the final table it was Lee Goldman who raised under the gun and Bruno Fitoussi, on his left, moved all in for 89,000 chips. Calvin Anderson made the call and Goldman did so as well when the action was folded back around to him.

The flop brought {10-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and Goldman bet, Anderson called. On the turn the {10-Diamonds} hit and both players checked. The river was the {Q-Spades} and Goldman bet after which Anderson folded.

Goldman showed {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and that was enough to knock Fitoussi out who showed {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}.

Nick Kost

Omaha 8

After a raising war between Nick Kost and Calvin Anderson, the former ended up at risk for his tournament life.

Kost: {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{6-Spades}
Anderson: {A-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}

"Keep'em high," Kost's friends shouted from the rail before the flop showed {2-Hearts}{9-Spades}{J-Hearts}. On the turn, the {8-Hearts} hit and Anderson made a flush. The river brought the {5-Hearts} and Kost hit the rail in 10th place. The final nine players will now move to The Mothership, otherwise known as the main final table in the Amazon room.

Sklar Over Goldman

Level 25

Omaha 8

Richard Sklar raised from the cutoff and Bruno Fitoussi called from the button. Lee Goldman tagged along from the big blind and the trio of players watched as a {8-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop fell. All three players checked to see the {9-Spades} hit the turn and Goldman fired out. Sklar called while Fitoussi folded his hand.

The {J-Clubs} rivered and the action went check-check. Sklar rolled over {A-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{2-Diamonds} which took down the pot. He's now up to 1.3 million in chips.

David Benyamine Eliminated in 11th Place ($32,430)

Level 25
David Benyamine
David Benyamine

Limit Hold'em

Right after the break David Benyamine lost back-to-back pots and that sent him to the rail. First it was Richard Sklar who made a huge hand with the board showing {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts}{5-Clubs}. On the river Sklar bet and Benyamine called after which our new chip leader slammed {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} onto the felt.

Benyamine shook his head and mucked, and on the very next hand it was Randy Ohel who raised from his right. Benyamine three-bet and the action folded back to Ohel. Ohel tanked for a bit before putting in another raise and Benyamine called all in.

Benyamine: {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}
Ohel: {A-Clubs}{3-Clubs}

The board ran out {J-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and Benyamine was knocked out by Ohel's flopped flush.
