Kuzmin Sits, Kuzmin Stands, Kuzmin Scoops

Level 1

Stud 8

Ali Eslami: {x-}{x-} / {2-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{10-Clubs} / {x-}
Josh Arieh: {x-}{x-} / {j-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}fold
Tom Koral: {x-}{x-} / {k-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{9-Spades}fold
Alex Kuzmin: {x-}{x-} / {8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} / {x-}

Alex Kuzmin just rocked up for the $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. Championship, but it looks like he's having a bit of an issue. We're not sure if he forgot to put in his contacts or forgot to bring his glasses, but he's having a very difficult time seeing the cards. In a game like stud, this presents a real problem.

On one of the first hands he was dealt, Eslami brought it in with the {2-Diamonds}, Arieh completed, Koral raised, and Kuzmin cold-called.

All four players checked on fourth street, Koral checked again on fifth, and Kuzmin bet. Only Eslami called.

Eslami check-called two more bets on sixth and seventh, then mucked when Kuzmin fanned {7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}. The Russian is up to almost 40,000 chips, while Eslami is back to the starting stack.
