Kerr Exits Gracefully After Bad Beat

Level 18 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Steven Kerr
Steven Kerr

We missed the preflop action, but we do know a big three-way all in just went down between Ludovic Riehl, Steven Kerr and Eric Froehlich. Froehlich was all in for 49,000, Kerr for 62,500, and Riehl had them both covered.

Froehlich: {a-Spades}{j-Spades}
Kerr: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Riehl: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

Kerr was ahead with his queens, and he stayed there on the {j-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop. Kerr was clearly nervous as he was on his feet sweating the hand, and that is when disaster struck. The dealer burned and turned the {A-Clubs}, which gave Froehlich, who had started with the worst hand, the lead with two pair and Riehl the lead in the side pot.

The {J-Clubs} river filled Froehlich up, and he tripled on the hand. Meanwhile, Riehl eliminated Kerr, who finished in 47th place, but not before shaking hands with everyone remaining at the table.
