Singer Stays Alive

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 3,000 ante

Ted Forrest completed with the {Q-Hearts} and then called when a short-stacked David Singer, who had the {A-Hearts} showing, raised to 30,000. Both players checked fourth, and then Forrest called a bet of 30,000 on fifth. Singer check-called a bet on sixth, which left him just 7,000 behind. He put it in on seventh, and Forrest called.

Forrest: {q-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{7-Spades}{k-Diamonds} / {q-Spades}{j-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}
Singer: {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{10-Clubs} / {7-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts}

Singer had tens with a 7-5-4-2-A low, but he only got the low half as Forrest had queens for the high.

"I had so many outs," Singer said about seventh street.
