McKain Sent to the Rail

Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Brian McKain three-bet shoved for 28,000 after Jason Zelus had opened the action with a raise to 7,000. Zelus called with the {K-Spades}{9-Spades} and needed help in order to improve against {A-}{K-}.

The {J-Spades}{4-Spades}{9-} flop was pretty much the best he could ask for and the {7-Spades} turn closed the book for McKain. A meaningless blank on the river saw McKain increase his stack to above average.
