"The Unbeatable Mr. Bonomo"

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante
Justin Bonomo
Justin Bonomo

Picking up with the action on the second draw, Eli Elezra and Justin Bonomo each took one card while David Benyamine drew two. All three players checked and repeated the same draw on the final draw. Elezra led into the middle and found a call from Bonomo. Benyamine let his hand go. Bonomo fanned {8-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{2-} and picked up the pot. This leaves Elezra with just 155,000 in chips.

Soon after, Jason Mercier raised from the cutoff and Bonomo called from the big blind. Both players took two cards on the first draw and Bonomo check-called a bet from Mecier. On the second draw, Bonomo drew two and Mercier one. Bonomo once again check-called. The final draw saw each player pick up one new card. Bonomo came out swinging with a bet and this made Mercier shift in his seat.

A moment passed before Mercier tossed out a call. Bonomo showed {8-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{2-} once again and Mercier flung his hand into the muck.

"The unbeatable Mr. Bonomo!" chimed in Elezra as Bonomo stacked his new chips. He's now sitting right around 800,000 in chips.

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Phil Galfond raised to 20,000 only to have Michael Chow make it three-bets to go as Nick Schulman called from the small blind along with Galfond.

Galfond and Schulman each drew two while Chow drew one and the action was checked around. Each player now drew just one and the action was action checked round before each player again drew one.

Schulman and Galfond checked to Chow who tossed in 20,000 with only Galfond making the call.

Chow tabled his {7-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-} and Galfond mucked to send Chow's stack up to 170,000 in chips.

Turner Makes Eighty-Six

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Jon Turner raised under the gun and it folded around to David Benyamine who made it three bets from the button. Action came back to Turner and he called. Turner took two on the first draw while Benyamine rapped the table, opting to stand pat. Turner checked, Benyamine continued, and Turner called.

On the second draw, Turner once again took two new cards. Benyamine stood pat and fired out a bet when action checked to him. This time, however, Turner came over the top with a raise. Benyamine called. Both stood pat on the final draw and Turner moved all in for his last 11,000. Benyamine called but mucked his cards after Turner tabled {8-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-}. Turner picked up the pot, survived his all in, and now has 190,000 in chips.

Bonomo Keeps Climbing

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Justin Bonomo raised from the cutoff and Alexandre Luneau made it three bets from the button. Jason Mercier called from the big blind and Bonomo called as well. For the first draw, Mercier took two cards, Bonomo one, and Luneau two. Mercier then checked, Bonomo bet, and Luneau raised. Mercier called the two bets and Bonomo also flung out a call.

On the second draw, all three players took one new card. Action checked around to Luneau and he fired out a bet. He found two calls. Both Mercier and Bonomo took one new card on the final draw while Luneau stood pat. Mercier checked the final street and Bonomo took the lead with a bet. Luneau tank-folded and Mercier followed suit.

Bonomo was pushed the pot and now has 510,000 in chips.

"I was super tilted last night," said Bonomo as he stacked his new chips. "But I woke up this morning feeling great. I needed a reset."

Another Perfect Seven for Sergey

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

From the button, Michael Chow raised to 20,000 and Sergey Rybachenko defended his big blind and drew three to Chow's one.

Rybachenko check-called 10,000 and drew two as Chow now stood pat before betting 20,000 once Rybachenko checked. The Russian responded by check-raising to 40,000 as Chow called.

Both players stood pat and Rybachenko bet 20,000 with Chow calling.

Rybachenko tabled his {7-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-} for the nuts to scoop the pot and move to over 400,000 while Chow was left with roughly 65,000 in chips.
