Eighty-Seven for Chow

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

John Hennigan raised his button and Jason Mercier replied by three-betting from the small blind. Michael Chow called from the big blind and Hennigan came along as well. Mercier picked up one new card, Chow two, and Hennigan three. Mercier came out swinging with a bet and found calls from both Chow and Hennigan.

On the second draw, Mercier stood pat, Chow took one, and Hennigan opted for two. Mercier led out once again only to have the action raised by Chow. Hennigan folded his hand and Mercier flatted.

Mercier then broke what he had previously made to draw one card. Chow, on the other hand, stood pat. Both players checked the last round and Chow tabled {8-}{7-}{5-}{3-}{2-}. Mercier mucked his hand and Chow was pushed the pot.

Chow now has about 217,000 in chips while Mercier has dropped under 100K.
