Balzano Doubles Through West

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Paul Balzano moved all in for 133,000 from early position and Tim West moved all in from the small blind. Balzano was at risk with {a-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} versus the {a-Spades}{10-Clubs} of West.

The flop came {3-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{5-Hearts}, giving Balzano more outs. The {2-Diamonds} turn matched Balzano and the {9-Spades} river completed the board, assuring the double for Balzano.

Allen Shoves on McLaughlin

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

The 2013 World Series of Poker Main Event final tablist Marc-Etienne McLaughlin raised to 33,000 from middle position, a raise that saw a couple of folds. Robert Allen was not folding, though — instead he three-bet all-in.

McLaughlin asked for a count of his stack, but ultimately folded, leaving Allen to scoop the pot.

Jackson Represents the Flush

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

David Jackson checked from the small blind with the board reading {5-Spades}{9-Clubs}{A-Diamonds} and then called when Asi Moshe bet 51,000. The {J-Spades} landed on the turn and Jackson check-called again, this time a more substantial bet of 105,000.

Jackson then led for 125,000 when the potentially flush-completing {2-Spades} appeared on the river. Moshe checked his hole cards, discovered they were not spades, and sent them into the muck.

Bernardo Da Silveira Dias Eliminated in 17th Place ($20,733)

David Jackson raised to 35,000 from early position and Bernardo Da Silveira Dias moved all in for 132,000. Action folded around to James Dorrance who moved all in for 941,000 from the big blind. Jackson open-folded pocket eights.

Dias: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Dorrance: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

Dias celebrated as he saw a queen in the window when the flop came {q-Spades}{3-Clubs}{4-Clubs}, then Jackson winced as the {8-Clubs} fell on the turn. The river {6-Clubs} completed the flush, though, for Dorrance, and Dias was sent to the rail.
