Ace-King High is Good

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

Ismael Bojang raised in middle position, Zack Milchman made it three bets, and the action folded back to Bojang, who called.

The flop fell {4-Spades}{9-Clubs}{4-Hearts}, Bojang check-called a bet, and the pair both checked on the turn ({2-Spades}) and the river ({4-Diamonds}). Milchman showed {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{2-Hearts}, and was pushed the pot.

Another Hui Double

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

Phillip Hui got the last of his chips in with {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and was against David Williams and his {A-Spades}{J-Clubs}{9-Spades}{5-Hearts}. The board ran out {Q-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} and Hui's hand was good enough to "Scoopy Doop" as his rail celebrated his good fortune. He's now up to 125,000 after being down to 23,000 a little while ago.

Glantz vs. The World

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

"Do you guys even play down there?" Matt Glantz asked Don Zewin, Zack Milchman, and all of the players on the right-hand side of the table.

They didn't respond.

"It's Matt Glantz versus the world," David Williams said, grinning.

Glantz chuckled.

A few minutes later, Glantz raised in middle position and Williams called in the cutoff. Glantz then check-called bets on every street as the board came {j-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{5-Spades}, then mucked when Williams showed {a-Spades}{10-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades}.

"Scoop-a-doop!" Williams said, pulling in the pot.

Hui Triples Up

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

Phillip Hui moved all in for his last 24,000 and Don Zewin raised to 40,000. Matt Glantz made the call and the three were off to a flop of {9-Spades}{7-Hearts}{5-Spades}. Glantz and Zewin checked as they would do on the {5-Clubs} turn and {7-Diamonds} river. With no bets made the pair, Hui felt good about his chances as he tabled {J-Spades}{J-Clubs}{10-Spades}{10-Clubs}.

"Scoopy Doop," he said, and adding "don't slow roll me" to the other two at the table. They both mucked their hands and Hui took down the pot.

"I'm gonna fold for another three hours," Bui joked as he tripled up to 82,000 in chips.

Scott Abrams Eliminated in 11th Place ($17,828)

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante
Scott Abrams
Scott Abrams

A brutal level saw Scott Abrams go from the chip lead to the short stack. With just 31,000 left, he raised first to act from the button, setting himself all in. Both Michael Bees and David Williams called out of the blinds.

Bees would check-fold to Williams bet on the {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} flop and the hands were revealed:

Abrams: {Q-Spades}{J-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{3-Spades}
Williams: {A-Spades}{10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Spades}

The turn was the {8-Clubs} and the river was the {Q-Clubs} and Williams queen-high straight would be enough to eliminate Abrams in 11th place.

Steve Lustig - 12th Place
Steve Lustig - 12th Place

Ismael Bojang raised in early position, Steve Lustig moved all in from the cutoff, and Bojang called.

"I have the nuts," the German said, fanning {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{2-Hearts}.

Lustig needed some help with {a-Spades}{9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}, but received none from the {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{2-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} board.

"Good luck everyone," Lustig offered, shaking a few hands before exiting.
