Veldhuis Bets Big

If you have ever seen Lex Veldhuis in action you will know that he is not afraid of making big plays in big pots, in fact he seems to thrive on it. In a hand that just went down Veldhuis was facing off against one player sat to his left. They had reached the river of a board reading 
and after sorting some chips out from his stack Veldhuis bet a pot sized bet of 7,300.
His opponent took out the calling chips and gave a rather unconvincing display of chip twirling with shaky hands. After a bit of this, while Veldhuis sat there looking unconcerned, he mucked his cards.
