Aoki's Pursuit of Happiness

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Mikiyo Aoki

Mikiyo Aoki just won another big pot and bumped her stack up to 2.56 million, which means she's now in the Top 10 with 174 players remaining.

We caught the action on the turn when the board read {3-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}, as Eddy Sabat put in 225,000 to call Aoki's raise.

Aoki was seated on the button and on the river, the {10-Hearts}, Sabat checked to his opponent. Aoki quickly bet 275,000 and Sabat tanked for a couple of minutes.

"I need to call the clock on myself," Sabat finally said, leaving the dealer very confused.

"What?" the dealer said.

"Yes, I want the clock on myself," Sabat repeated himself and the dealer called a member of the floor staff over.

"This player wants to call the clock on himself," the dealer said.

"You can't call the clock on yourself," the member of the floor staff said.

"Clock," Scott Palmer immediately said, helping Sabat's cause.

The clock was winding down on Sabat and within 10 seconds he made the call.

Aoki turned over {J-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and she raked in the pot with a flush, as Sabat shook his head knowing he was left with a small stack.
