Day 1c of Event #11: $365 PLO GIANT Kicks Off at 7 p.m.

The third of five qualifying flights for Event #11: $365 PLO GIANT Pot-Limit Omaha is slated for Sunday afternoon at the 2018 World Series of Poker. Day 1c will get cards in the air at 7 p.m. local time inside the Miranda room at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino.

The brand new event for the 2018 WSOP has clearly gained some traction with a total of 946 entries across the first two flights. Just 50 have secured a set on Day 2 with some notable names heading up the leaderboard.

The current mark was sent on Day 1a by Pedro Arroyos who turned a starting stack of 25,000 into a mountain of 1,757,000. Two-time gold bracelet winner, Randy Holland is second best after bagging the chip lead on Day 1b with 1,450,000. Dzmitry Urbanovich, Leif Force, Aleksey Filatov, and Craig Chait are just a few of the names sitting among the leaders.

Every Day 1 will be playing 21 levels, each 20 minutes in length, and play will end after those levels are completed or if the field has been reduced down to just ten remaining. The players will be given a 20-minute break after every six levels of play and will not be having a dinner break on Day 1. There will be a starting stack of 25,000 and the blinds will begin at 25/50.

The late registration period runs until the end of Level 9 in which players can either enter or reenter if haven already busted. If a player makes it through on any given flight and opts to play another flight, their stack will then be forfeited from the previous flight. Players will play into the money during each flight and the remaining prize pool not awarded will be carried over to Day 2. Players may cash in multiple flights if they reach the top 15% of any flight, yet don’t survive with chips.
