Wien Spikes a Spade on the Turn to Make a Huge Double

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Jeremy Wien
Jeremy Wien

Jeremy Wien opened to 42,000 from early position and found two callers in Kenny Smaron (button) and Asi Moshe (big blind).

The flop fell {J-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and big action followed. Moshe tapped to let Wien fire a 105,000 continuation bet. Smaron called but Moshe had bigger plans. He reached to his stack and check-raised to 269,000. Wien announced he was all-in, earning a fold from Smaron. Moshe, however, called in a second.

Jeremy Wien: {A-Spades}{5-Spades}
Asi Moshe: {Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

Moshe had floppped it but he had to fade a spade card on the turn and river. The dealer wasn't on the same page, however, giving Wien the nut flush on the {4-Spades} turn. Moshe knew he was beat and the {8-Hearts} couldn't change anything. He had to ship 626,000 Wien's way.
