After two tournament days and 20 hours of play, another $10K Championship event of the 2018 World Series of Poker is one step closer to crowning a winner and awarding another coveted gold bracelet at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino. Out of a field of 166 entries in Event #27: $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. Championship, only 16 hopefuls remain with the lion's share of the $1,560,400 prize pool still up for grabs.

Leading the field into Day 3 is Laith Salem with 1,456,000 and Lebanon's Albert Daher is the only other player with more than one million in chips, having bagged up 1,300,000 at 2 a.m. the previous night. John Hennigan leads the line-up of seven remaining former WSOP bracelet winners still in contention with 687,000, with Randy Ohel (571,000), Carol Fuchs (562,000) and David "Bakes" Baker (559,000) all within one big bet of each other. They are joined by Jean Gaspard (405,000), Anthony Zinno (237,000) and Robert Mizrachi (111,000).

Other players to look out for when the action resumes on the Amazon feature tables at 2 p.m. local time are UK's Iraj Parvizi (620,000), Daniel Zack (546,000), Jake Schwartz (357,000) and Katherine Fleck (186,000). The tournament recommences with blinds of 6,000/12,000 in hold'em and Omaha games, with the limits 12,000/24,000. All stud games will feature an ante of 3,000 and a bring-in of 3,000 with the same limits.

PokerGO will be streaming the final table once the last eight players have been determined and the PokerNews live reporting team will be on the floor to provide all the action as it unfolds.
