John Hennigan
John Hennigan

Pot-Limit Omaha

Mike Leah limped from the small blind and John "World" Hennigan checked his option in the big blind.

The flop came down {Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{2-Spades} and Leah check-called 50,000 from Hennigan to see the {9-Hearts} turn. Both checked, the {4-Clubs} river completed the board, Leah checked and Hennigan bet 75,000.

Leah called, but mucked when Hennigan tabled {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} for the nut flush.

Mizrachi Applying Infinite Pressure

Level 22 : 100,000/200,000, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

John Hennigan opened with a raise to 100,000 from under the gun and Aaron Katz called in the cutoff. On the button, Michael Mizrachi made it 425,000. Hennigan quickly folded while Katz called.

The flop was {A-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and both players checked to the {J-Diamonds} on the turn. There, Katz checked again. Mizrachi plopped out a bet of 800,000 and Katz dropped into the tank. He exchanged a few words and a smile with Mizrachi before eventually deciding to fold after a couple of minutes.

Mizrachi flashed his {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for top set before raking in another pot.

Monster for Grinder

Level 22 : 100,000/200,000, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

John Hennigan raised to 100,000 for the second straight hand — in the first, Michael Mizrachi defended big blind and potted a {3-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{j-Clubs} flop and won — and Mizrachi called in the small blind, as did Benny Glaser in the big. The board read {k-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} after three checks and Mizrachi potted for 300,000.

The others folded quickly and Mizrachi showed {7-}{7-}{6-}{5-} for a straight and a set.

Aaron Katz: {X-}{X-} / {10-}{Q-}{K-} - fold
Benny Glaser: {X-}{X-} / {6-}{6-}{J-} - fold

Dan Smith completed on third street, Aaron Katz called and Benny Glaser called. Fourth street wasn't particularly good for anybody and Katz checked with the best board. Glaser checked, Smith bet and both Katz and Glaser called. Smith seized the on-board lead on fifth and bet, chasing out both Katz and Glaser.

Chop it Up for Smith and Glaser

Level 22 : 100,000/200,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Benny Glaser opened from the cutoff and Dan Smith called from the big blind.

The flop came down {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and Smith checked to Glaser who put out a bet. Smith called.

On the {K-Spades} turn, Smith checked to Glaser who bet again. Smith then check-raised making it two bets and Glaser called.

The river was the {4-Clubs} and Smith bet and Glaser didn't waste time calling. Smith showed {Q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for a straight and eight-three for a low, but Glaser earned half the pot with {A-Spades}{7-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} for a better low with his seven-three.

Stud

After a Benny Glaser call first to act, John Hennigan completed with the {10-Clubs} and Dan Smith raised in the next seat with the {q-Hearts}. That convinced everyone else to muck but Hennigan came along. He caught running clubs and came out betting on fifth after calling fourth.

John Hennigan: {x-}{x-} / {10-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Dan Smith: {x-}{x-} / {q-Hearts}{6-Spades}{8-Spades}

Smith didn't think long before mucking to the bet.

Leah Back in the Thick of It

Level 22 : 100,000/200,000, 0 ante
Mike Leah
Mike Leah

Stud

Aaron Katz completed with the {K-Hearts} and Michael Mizrachi called with the {5-Diamonds}. Mike Leah made it two bets with the {J-Hearts} and Katz and Mizrachi both called.

Mike Leah: {x-}{x-}/{J-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}/{x-}
Michael Mizrachi: {x-}{x-}/{5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts}/{x-}
Aaron Katz: {x-}{x-}/{K-Hearts}{5-Spades}{Q-Spades} - folded on fifth

On fourth street, each of the three players checked. On fifth street, Mizrachi took initiative with his pair of fives and he bet. Leah called while Katz folded.

On sixth street, Mizrachi bet again and Leah called. On seventh street, both players checked. Leah showed down his {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for two pair and it was good. Grinder flashed his {7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} for two pair as well, but it was no good and went into the muck shortly after.

Leah earned a near double with the hand, moving back into the middle of the pack with over two million chips.

Aaron Katz: {x-}{x-} / {8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{2-Spades} / {x-}

On the river, Smith resumed his aggression with a bet though, and Katz didn't think long before letting it go.
