Haxton Scoops Galfond Early

Level 13 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

Shaun Deeb was the bring in with the {4-Hearts} and Isaac Haxton completed with his {5-Spades}. Phil Galfond made it two bets showing his {A-Spades} and Haxton was the only one to call.

Isaac Haxton: {x-}{x-}/{5-Spades}{10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}/{x-}
Phil Galfond: {x-}{x-}/{A-Spades}{9-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}/{x-}

Galfon led out with the betting lead on both fourth and fifth street and Haxton called twice.

On sixth street, Galfond slowed down and checked to Haxton. Haxton bet and Galfond called. Galfond checked again on seventh street and Haxton bet one more. Galfond called but shook his head when Haxton turned up {4-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for a straight and a seven-low. Haxton scooped the big pot dropping Galfond to right around 360,500 in chips.
