Shulman Livens Up the Room
Big-O
Michael Ross opened to 4,000 from the cutoff and Alynn Shulman flat-called on the button. Renan Bruschi was in the small blind and three-bet to 17,600. With the action back on Ross, he moved all in 35,100.
"Ooohhh we got a big pot, guys!" Kristopher Monteith yelled.
"Shut up and let me think," Shulman responded. She tanked for a couple minutes, apologizing to the table repeatedly for the deliberation. Shulman eventually stuck in her last 30,400 chips and Bruschi called as all three hands were tabled.
Allyn Shulman:
Michael Ross:
Renan Bruschi:
"Diamonds! Diamonds! Give the lady some diamonds!" Shulman was screaming.
The flop came and it was both Ross and Bruschi who picked up a flush draw, Bruschi with the larger one. The turn brought the and Shulman was still in the lead with her aces.
"Aces! Aces!" Shulman continued to yell.
The river brought the and, as the other two players were screaming out "ace-five" for their high hand, Shulman was still letting everyone know she had aces. "I have aces! And I have ace-four."
Everyone at the table just realized that Shulman also held the best low hand. "She scoops!" many of the players watching yelled. "I scoop! I scoop! Yeah, baby! It's hot in here," Shulman rejoiced with a couple of fist pumps.
It was the most exciting that has happened so far today in the Amazon gold section and the rest of the room feels a little rejuvenated with the excitement of Shulman.
