Koon Slipping Down the Leader Board

Level 26 : 50,000/100,000, 0 ante

Jason Koon limped in first to act and Shaun Deeb did so from the small blind. James Calderaro raised to 300,000 from the big blind and Koon called. Deeb folded. On the {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop and {2-Spades} turn, both players checked. The same applied for the {K-Clubs} river and Calderaro showed the {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} as the winning hand.

One hand later, Deeb min-raised to 200,000 on the button and was called two ways by Calderaro and Koon. The {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop was checked and the {9-Spades} appeared on the turn. Calderaro checked, Koon bet 225,000, and Deeb called while Calderaro folded. The {4-Clubs} river was checked and Koon announced tens.

"No good," Deeb replied and showed the {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} as winning hand.
