Welcome to Event #51: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em Bounty
Event #51: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em Bounty will be kicking off and all the runners will be arriving at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino for the 11 a.m. local start time.
The tournament on the slate for today is a favorite for many players and draws a wide variety of people. If you knock someone out, a $500 bounty awaits.
Last year saw a total of 1,927 entries, with the only runner remaining at the end of play being Chris Bolek who acquired his last bounty when he took out Bryan Emory in a heated heads-up battle. Along with the satisfying feeling of defeating a large field of players, he also earned his first WSOP bracelet and picked up a prodigious $266,646.
All players will begin the day with a stack of 7,500 and the blinds at 25/50. There will be a total of ten 60-minute levels play on Day 1, with a break coming at the end of every two levels and a 75-minute dinner break coming at the end of the sixth level of play.
The late registration period will be open until the beginning of Level 9. Players will not be able to redeem any bounties they are awarded until after 10 p.m. local time.
