Welcome to Day 2 of Event #52: $10,000 Limit Hold'em Championship
Welcome to Day 2 of Event #52: $10,000 Limit Hold'em Championship. There are 43 players returning to the Amazon room to resume play and it's Michael Moore out in front with 260,500.
Day 1 saw plenty of action with Daniel Negreanu, Erik Siedel, Shaun Deeb, James Obst and Joe McKeehen among the players to hit the rail. Meanwhile like Moore, Portugal's Joao Vieira did much better and will return in second with 211,000, while Nick Schulman rounds out the top three Day 1 chip stacks with 202,000.
Day 2 will restart at 2 p.m. local time and tournament registration will remain open until the start of play today. When play resumes there will be 10 levels of Day 2 play with 15-min breaks every 2 levels. There will be a 60-min dinner break after 6th level (around 8:30 p.m.).
Like every WSOP event, PokerNews will be covering this one wire-to-wire, so be sure to check back in regularly for all updates of the 2018 World Series of Poker.
